Your job in a nutshell
You turn business needs into a clear, prioritised roadmap for Planted's business applications - and make sure it gets delivered. You work and lead hands-on, stay close to the work and enable the team and users to succeed, while our technical specialists provide the architectural depth.
Your Mission:
You own the requirements process for our business applications, challenging, clarifying and translating business needs into well-defined and agreed scopes before initiatives move forward.
You own and continuously shape one prioritised application roadmap, aligning business goals with technical initiatives, sequencing competing demands and helping decide when to build in-house versus adopt existing market solutions.
You drive application initiatives from planning through implementation, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget, and at the expected quality while actively managing dependencies and risks.
You act as a trusted partner to the business, translating complex topics into clear decisions and enabling users to work confidently and independently with our solutions.
You coordinate internal teams and external partners across our application landscape, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, EDI and in-house solutions supporting production and logistics.
You stay close to the systems and the work, testing solutions, validating releases and resolving issues when needed while relying on our specialists for technical depth.
You champion strong Master Data Management, ensuring data quality and governance support reliable system behaviour, integrations and business processes.
You lead and coach a small team of application specialists across ERP, CRM and solution architecture, setting clear priorities and goals, tracking meaningful OKRs and KPIs to measure team and systems performance together with the Head of IT.
You:
Bring 5+ years of experience in requirements engineering, business analysis and/or IT project management, ideally within an ERP, CRM or broader enterprise application environment.
Demonstrate a strong track record of delivering complex, cross-functional application projects with internal teams and external partners, using structured project management approaches; Agile/Scrum experience and certifications such as IPMA, PMP or IREB are a plus.
Understand enterprise application landscapes and how applications, APIs, databases, integrations and master data work together, with experience in ERP, CRM, PLM or similar systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
Communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in English (German is a strong plus), asking the right questions, challenging assumptions and turning complex requirements into clear decisions.
Prioritise effectively across competing demands, keeping teams focused on what creates the most business value even when priorities and pressure shift.
Solve problems pragmatically and make sound decisions, using AI and modern tools as part of your daily work to improve quality, speed and effectiveness.
Take ownership with a hands-on mindset, independently learning complex topics and following through from requirement to successful implementation.
Bring a process-minded and collaborative leadership personality — and enjoy working in a dynamic, growth-driven setting where innovation and change are part of our culture.
