After years of research, Planted was founded in July 2019 as a spin-off from ETH Zurich. Our revolutionary plan will make the world a better place. We structure meats from plants that is no way inferior to animal meat, scores with unique taste, and authentic texture, and is miles ahead in terms of sustainability and health!

Planted is more than a delicious product - it's also an attitude. We want to radically change the way meat is perceived and consumed and inspire a shift from eating animal proteins to eating plant proteins.

Your mission:

• You function as key point of contact for our co-manufacturing partners. You establish information flows, manage day-to-day communications with co-manufacturers and ensure they produce according to the specification
• You support the Head of Global Manufacturing in building and maintaining strong and mutually beneficial partnerships with our co-manufacturers
• You identify, escalate, and participate in the resolution of business-critical issues
• You evaluate potential co-manufacturing partners and set-up contractual agreements
• You create, track and communicate KPI’s and drive improvement where needed
  
• You support processing, packaging, and quality operations at national/international partners
• You coordinate the implementation of new products and processes at our co-manufacturers and align interfaces between internal and external manufacturing
• You organize audits of co-manufacturers
• You collaborate with core teams for new projects, technical transfer programs, and commercial manufacturing activities

You:

• have a higher education specialized in food manufacturing, food packaging, or food technology. Additional education in economics, management, purchasing or alike would be an advantage
• have at least 3 years of work experience in industrial food production and packaging in the field of Manufacturing, R&D, QM/QA, SCM, Raw Material Purchasing, or Project Management
• have a solid understanding of manufacturing and packaging processes in the food industry with a focus on meat products, meat alternatives, or convenience food
• have a proven track record in partnership/relationship management
• are able to excite partners about our products with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• can manage and organize multiple projects
• are fluent in German and English, French would be a significant asset
• have a valid work permit for Switzerland and the willingness to travel to different manufacturing sites across Europe
